Easy to Use
NuEyes lets you easily magnify anything from 2 to 12x with the push of a button, by using a wireless Bluetooth controller or by simply using your voice.
Voice-Activated
NuEyes lets you use voice commands to control your smartglasses. NuEyes gives you voice control through a series of menus and a text-to-speech feature. Use simple voice prompts to make text bigger, smaller, to change the color or to access any of the apps.
Crystal Clear HD Magnification Lets You See More
NuEyes has a special telescopic lens (like a smartphone) that lets you zoom in and magnify an image, text or anything without distorting or pixelating the image. Electronic magnification only works up to a specific distance and then the field of view becomes too large and the image pixelates or degrades so it is difficult to see. Using a special telephoto lens helps NuEyes up to 50, 75 and even 100 feet, while the image stays sharp and clear.
NuEyes has a 30º degree Field of View (FOV) and a 1080i stereo display that produces brilliant colors and a spectacular image.
As with any digital camera, the better the lighting, the better the image. However, to work optimally even in low light situations, NuEyes has a built-in light that is operated by wireless remote. NuEyes also features light blocking lenses and the ability to go dark on command.
Access and Watch TV from ANYWHERE
With onboard Wi-Fi and Bluetooth, NuEyes lets you stream television content directly to the in-frame displays and send the audio content to Bluetooth compatible headsets and hearing aids. Simply say “NuEyes, watch tv” and immediately it will stream tv so that you can sit back and watch television at your comfort and convenience.
Advanced Technology
NuEyes uses technologies originally designed by ODG (Osterhout Design Group) for military use to help visually impaired people see again. These smartglasses are a visual prosthetic that combines NuEyes’ lenses and proprietary software with ODG’s augmented reality R-7 smartglasses to help you see better.
Compact, Lightweight and Comfortable to Wear
This wearable headset is not much bigger than a regular set of glasses. At .27 pounds (123 grams), NuEyes weighs slightly less than an iPhone 6 (which weighs 129 grams). Put them on and the only thing you’ll notice is that you can see better.
Battery Powered To Give You Ultimate Mobility
NuEyes Smartglasses have up to a 2-hour battery life depending on how you use them. You can also plug your NuEyes into the included 10-hour battery pack. This pack comes with a 3-foot cable so you can easily carry it in your pocket or purse. For all day use without limits, NuEyes can be plugged into a wall outlet. NuEyes is even compatible with international plugs. And magnetic snaps make power cords easy to connect.

Put your eye prescription directly into NuEyes so you don’t need to wear glasses along with this device.
How Do NuEyes Smartglasses Work?
NuEyes uses an HD (High Definition) digital camera mounted on the center bridge of the glasses to stream images to the built-in 3D stereoscopic HD display lenses. The full HD camera can shoot 1080p resolution at 60 frames per second. The camera image is projected onto the frame-mounted displays. NuEyes enlarges and enhances images captured by the camera on the inside of the glasses’ lenses to help people with vision loss see better.
NuEyes uses Osterhout Design Group’s ‘curved mirror’ technology. Small projectors in the lenses over each eye project the image down onto a light blocking lens display.
Upgradeable and Customizable
NuEyes is developed on a buildable platform for future Apps and upgrades. More than just magnification glasses, NuEyes has a complete on-board Android computing sytem that can be upgraded and added to for years to come. With NuEyes you can connect to Wi-Fi for internet browsing, email and social media—all displayed directly on your headset. This system also features an Apps store where you can download apps specific to your personal needs.
